Wolves mock Arsenal’s ‘game management’ in TikTok video

Wolves have mocked Arsenal’s ‘game management’ and time-wasting in a TikTok video after their 2-2 draw on Wednesday night.

Mikel Arteta’s side appeared to be on course for a win as they took a two-goal lead through Bukayo Saka and Pierro Hincapie at Molineux.

However, a second-half collapse saw Wolves pull a goal back through Hugo Bueno’s excellent long-range strike before Tom Edozie’s equaliser in the fourth minute of injury time rescued a point for Rob Edwards’ side.

The draw leaves Arsenal five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League but concerns remain over the form of Arteta’s side as they have registered just two wins in their last seven league games.

Wolves, meanwhile, highlighted several attempts from Arsenal’s players to run down the clock during the game.

In one clip, Wolves sped up footage of Arsenal’s players talking before Declan Rice walked over slowly to take a corner.

Wolves captioned the incident with: ‘Must be some confusion over who takes corners. If only you could practice this before match day.’

In the next clip, Gabriel Magalhaes went down with an injury before getting back to his feet.

“He must be really hurt. Oh… he’s fine,” Wolves’ caption read.

Wolves then posted several eye-rolling emojis with footage of Leandro Trossard going down injured in the closing stages of the game.

After the match, Opta revealed that Arsenal have taken a total of 117 minutes to restart games from corners in the Premier League this season, higher than any other team in the division, while they also have the longest average delay of restarting from corners at 44 seconds.
