Jayden Bogle is focusing on Leeds United after being linked with a move to Liverpool.
The Reds have seen their right-back department depleted in the 2025/26 season, so a move for Bogle would have made sense.
Jeremie Frimpong is out of the weekend’s meeting with Nottingham Forest, while Conor Bradley won’t return until next season.
Pick one player you’d re-sign – Luis Diaz or Trent Alexander-Arnold?
Joe Gomez is back in training, but he is the only centre-back cover available right now as well.
In turn, Liverpool were trying to sign a right-back in the January transfer window and are said to have looked at Jayden Bogle.
Jayden Bogle focused on Leeds after Liverpool interest
Journalist Dave Davis told the Anfield Index’s Transfer Show: “This is a weird one, and my gut is telling me that Liverpool don’t revisit this, but Liverpool did make a serious enquiry for Jayden Bogle.
“Does it mean that they will go back for him in the summer? We don’t know, but I’m struggling to see it.”

Now, speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, Bogle was asked if he’s flattered by interest from big six teams.
He responded by saying that he is focused on Leeds: “No, like I said, I’m just solely focused on what we’re doing this season and the goals we’ve got to achieve.”

Jayden Bogle Leeds contract length and stats
It is probably not worth reading too much into Bogle’s comments, as he is obviously not going to come out and say he would like a move elsewhere.
Whether Liverpool would come back in for the full-back in the summer remains to be seen.
But he would add plenty of experience to the Liverpool backline, especially if Gomez were to leave or simply just as cover while Bradley remains out long term.
He is under contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2028 and has so far made 71 appearances for the Whites.
In said ties, the right-back has scored eight and assisted eight, and has also been used as wing-back on a number of occasions.
