Wolves have the opportunity to bolster their squad again when the summer transfer window opens up for business

Wolves are ‘very interested’ in Charleroi midfileder Yacine Titraoui, according to Sky Sport CH. They are being linked with a move for the player ahead of the summer. He is under contract with his current club until June 2027 meaning he is due to become a free agent next year.

The Midlands outfit look well on their way to relegation to the Championship. They are inside the drop zone along with Burnley and West Ham. Rob Edwards’ side fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Arsenal last time out though.

Wolves target move for Charleroi midfielder Yasine Titraoui

Wolves could see Titraoui as someone to bolster their squad ahead of the next campaign. If he joined, he would give them more competition and depth in the middle of the park. At the age of 22, he has potential to improve and develop down the line.

It seems likely that the likes of Joao Gomes and Andre will leave Molineux when this term ends. Gomes is said to be on the radar of Manchester United. Therefore, Edwards will need to make some signings in that area of the pitch.

Titraoui has been on the books at Charleroi since 2024 and has established himself as one of their most prized assets. The Belgian Pro League side will face a battle to keep hold of him in the future amid attention from elsewhere. He has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season, 23 of which have come in the league, and he has chipped in with four goals and two assists.

What now for Wolves in the Premier League?

Wolves take on Crystal Palace away at Selhurst Park this weekend. Speaking after their impressive result against Arsenal, defender Santiago Bueno said: “It’s an incredible feeling. I was able to get my first Premier League goal, at home, and it’s something I wanted to do for a long time, so I’m super happy.

“It wasn’t an easy match at all, losing 2-0, but we knew we had to keep pushing, keep working, keep believing and in the end, we got the result. There’s a lot of work behind the scenes, and it’s not been an easy season, so to get a little reward today was amazing.”

Bueno said: “We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, especially when you go 2-0 down at home, but we always believed. We believed that if we kept going, we could do what we did today. I’m so happy for everyone. I think we deserved it, and hopefully we can keep this momentum.”
