The Clarets head into tomorrow’s trip to Chelsea nine points adrift of safety having won just one of their last 17 league games.

Despite that, many have still written off both Burnley and Wolves – with the majority of observers expecting the likes of West Ham, Nottingham Forest, Leeds and Tottenham to fight it out to avoid that final spot.

But Parker believes the Clarets are still well in this, despite there only being 12 games remaining.

“Oh 100% there's still belief, for sure there is,” he said. “I think you see that belief only eight days ago at Crystal Palace away.

“I think if there was ever any doubt from anyone and you want to see a belief, there was a belief there really.

“I've seen it many times, I think I remember West Ham one year, I've seen many, many other teams at this point [come from behind].

“We have full belief now and we're fully committed to try and get some more wins and put some more pressure on.”
