Burnley Women to launch social media fly-on-the-wall docu-series with X

February 20 – Burnley FC have extended their commercial partnership with X to launch a new behind-the-scenes documentary series focused on Burnley FC Women.

The eight-part series, titled Limitless, will be distributed on X on a weekly basis through the rest of the 2025/26 season, alongside around 30 shorter-form clips designed for regular in-feed engagement.

Production is handled by VSP Studios and Ad Hoc Films, the same companies behind Keeping The Faith, the existing series covering the club’s men’s side.

The women’s edition shifts the spotlight to Burnley’s push for promotion from the Women’s National League, offering real-time access to players and staff across the campaign. It is positioned as part of the club’s broader attempt to grow its digital audience beyond matchdays and build year-round engagement through owned content.

The project is backed by Sure For Women, extending Sure’s relationship with the club. Branding will feature within the series as well as through existing matchday inventory, including kit and stadium exposure at Turf Moor.

Rather than functioning as traditional broadcast content, Limitless is designed to live natively on a social platform, where engagement metrics – views, shares and real-time interaction – can be directly presented to sponsor partners.

By packaging long-form storytelling with frequent short-form clips, Burnley are aiming to create sustained digital visibility for its women’s team, attract brand partners seeking alignment with women’s sport, and demonstrate to stakeholders that its content arm can deliver measurable return across a full season.
