Erling Haaland is fully fit ahead of Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Saturday.

The striker was forced off in City’s last league game at home to Fulham on 11 February and sat out of the FA Cup victory over Salford City last weekend.

But speaking ahead of the visit of the Magpies, Pep Guardiola has confirmed his talisman is fully recovered.

Asked if Haaland is fully fit, Guardiola nodded to reporters before confirming Savinho is also ready to return to action with Jeremy Doku still absent.

Haaland has scored 29 goals in 37 appearances this season but has suffered a dip in form since the turn of the year, scoring just once in the opening six league matches of 2026.

The Norway international played a key role in City’s huge win at Liverpool earlier this month however, scoring from the penalty spot and providing an assist before getting back on the score sheet three days later at Craven Cottage.

After watching Arsenal drop points away to Wolves midweek, City can close the gap on the Gunners to just two points if they beat Newcastle at the Eithad in Saturday’s evening kick-off with a game in hand.
