Savinho returns to the City squad for the visit of Newcastle United, but Jeremy Doku remains sidelined through injury.
The Blues had a rare midweek break in the a hectic fixture schedule, which allowed manager Pep Guardiola to give his players a few days off.
“The important thing is the players are revitalised after three days,” he said at Friday's press conference.
“We’ve had a lot of months with few days off - games every weekend and midweek.
“I don’t have to run one metre so for me it’s not a problem. After one or two days I sleep well so it’s enough.
“For the players it’s really good, they have a long week to rest, to forget [about football] and to train good. And they trained good in the last few days.”
City beat Newcastle in the Carabao Cup at The Etihad just over a fortnight ago, with Omar Marmoush (2) and Tijjani Reijnders netting for the Blues. Overall City have won 81 of the 197 games played against Newcastle, with 42 draws and 74 defeats.
Predicted line-up: Donnarumma, Nunes, Dias, Guehi, Ait-Nouri, Rodri, Silva, O'Reilly, Semenyo, Marmoush, Haaland
Score prediction: City 3 Newcastle 1
