Man Utd chief Ratcliffe avoids FA charge over anti-immigration remarks

The 73-year-old caused outrage last week when claiming the United Kingdom had been "colonised by immigrants"

Ratcliffe told Sky News last week that the United Kingdom had been "colonised by immigrants", comments which were widely condemned.

He subsequently issued a statement saying he was sorry if his remarks had "offended some people" in what some viewed as a non-apology.

English football governing body has now reminded Ratcliffe of his responsibilities as a senior participant in the game.
