The race to avoid Premier League relegation is heating up and retired English manager Neil Warnock has given his brutal verdict on which team he wants to see drop into the EFL Championship.
Warnock, 77, had spells in the English top-flight with several clubs throughout his incredible four decades in the dugout. The Sheffield-born leader managed clubs such as Crystal Palace, Queen's Park Rangers and Cardiff City in the Premier League.

Southampton miss out on a place in the top 10 despite their third Premier League relegation.
However, Warnock wants to settle a long-overdue score with one of the teams currently battling to remain in the division. Wolves and Burnley are already down in many people's eyes, while West Ham United, Nottingham Forest and even Tottenham are in contention to join them.

Neil Warnock
Warnock, whose last managerial job came with Scottish club Aberdeen in 2024, was asked for his thoughts on this season's relegation scrap during a talkSPORT appearance. His answer proved he definitely knows how to hold a grudge as the ex-Sheffield United manager responded:
"You know me with Sheffield United and Tevez, it wouldn't bother me to see West Ham [get relegated].
"Yep, it wouldn't bother me to see them go down, I tell you."
He revealed it was absolutely all about revenge, adding: "But it's a bit of a long overdue payback I think that for me."
The Hammers are the current most likely third team to drop out of the Premier League. Nuno Espirito Santo's side sit below Forest and Spurs in the table, but have picked up their form in recent weeks and are now a lot closer to their rivals.
Why Warnock Wants West Ham to Get Relegated
Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano
The bad blood between Warnock and the east Londoners dates all the way back to the 2006/07 season. Sheffield United, under Warnock, suffered relegation on the final day of the season as West Ham survived the drop.
The Irons secured a shock victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford thanks to a Carlos Tevez winner. That sent the Blades into the Championship, and it goes down as one of the most controversial days in Premier League history.
The massive dispute surrounded the arrivals of Tevez and Javier Mascherano at Upton Park that year. The Argentine duo rocked up in the capital in 2006 from Brazilian club Corinthians. However, it later emerged that the club had broken third-party ownership rules as the rights to the players were partially held by agent Kia Joorabchian's company, Media Sports Investment (MSI).
Sheffield United were eventually awarded £20 million in a 2009 tribunal as it was proven that the Tevez goal proved vital in the relegation battle. West Ham were also slapped with a record £5.5 million fine. It's safe to say Warnock still isn't over it.
