Adams wasn't ready to play vs Everton - but American is now "ready to go"

Adams was an important part of the Bournemouth team for the first part of the season, but he picked up a knee injury in the opening minutes of the side’s 4-4 draw at Manchester United.

That saw him miss nine games, but he was back in the squad for the visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

While he was included, Iraola said they would have only risked him if they needed to due to injuries or red cards.

But the American has had an extra ten days of training since and he is ready to go once again.

“I think he travelled the other day but he was not ready to play,” Iraola said.

“It was just in case of limited situation, you lose the midfielders because of injuries, red cards, whatever and maybe we could risk it.

“I think it has been a very good break for him now, ten days, and I think he's ready to go. I think it's probably risky to start him because he has been out for some time, but I think he could.”
