Liverpool return to Premier League action against Nottingham Forest on February 22 and Peter Crouch is backing his former side to win.
Arne Slot has never beaten Forest as Reds manager, and the Merseyside outfit’s overall record against them is not great.
In fact, the Darwin Nunez winner in 2024 is the only time Liverpool have beaten Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League in their last 15 meetings.
Got a horrible feeling Slot is going to keep Gakpo in the XI and drop Salah 😬 Who should be the front four vs Forest?

There is also the new manager bounce to consider, with Vitor Pereira already enjoying a positive start by securing a 3-0 win in Europe on Thursday.
Peter Crouch praises Milos Kerkez
However, Peter Crouch has still predicted that Liverpool will earn a comfortable win on Sunday.
Speaking on his podcast this week, he said that Slot’s men will come away with a 3-1 victory.
He also thinks that Milos Kerkez, who provided an assist for Curtis Jones last time out against Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup, just had his best game since moving from Bournemouth.

He said: “I thought Kerkez probably had his best game in a red shirt as well [against Brighton]. So, and Wirtz looks good as well.
“I feel like they, you know, things are getting, things are looking brighter for Liverpool and Salah amongst the goals again. So, I can’t see anything other than the Liverpool win if I’m honest, to be fair.”
Start, bring on, leave on the bench vs Forest… ✅🔄🪑

Chris Sutton predicts Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool
Like Crouch, Paul Merson agrees Liverpool will beat Forest, sharing his score prediction on Friday.
But the duo are not the only high-profile name backing Slot’s side to win three games in eight days.
Chris Sutton predicted a 1-0 win for the away outfit on Sunday and stated: “We know Pereira will try to keep things tight, but Forest’s biggest issue throughout this campaign has been scoring goals and I am not sure they will be able to get at Liverpool.
“Arne Slot’s side became the first team to win at the Stadium of Light when they edged out Sunderland in their last league game, and I can see a similar outcome here.”
