We reached this stage of the competition with a 2-0 win at home to Aston Villa in the fourth round thanks to goals from Stina Blackstenius and Kim Little.
Here’s hoping we make it seven wins in a row in all competitions to reach the quarter-finals in April!
### robins review
Bristol City beat Portsmouth 2-0 at home in the third round of the FA Cup by way of goals from Maria Farrugia and Mari Ward, before winning 2-1 away to Southampton after extra-time in the fourth round.
An Emily Syme brace secured the win in Eastleigh, including an 118th-minute winner against the Saints.
Southampton recently got their revenge in WSL 2 though, beating the Robins 2-0 last weekend. The latter are now fourth in the second tier, two points shy of Crystal Palace and three behind Birmingham City, while Charlton Athletic are nine points clear at the top.
Jessie Gale, who is on loan at Bristol City, will be ineligible to play against us.
### last time we met
We put five past the Robins without reply in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup last season. Stina Blackstenius opened the scoring early on before Frida Maanum doubled our lead.
Blackstenius completed her brace and Beth Mead added another as we went into the half-time break with a four-goal lead. Mead made it five early in the second half to put the result beyond doubt.
