Wrexham have reportedly emerged as shock contenders to sign Leeds United-linked winger Harry Wilson from Fulham.
He instead remained at Craven Cottage, where he has plied his trade since 2021.
The wideman has since been in excellent form, enjoying the strongest season of his career to date.

There has also been talk of interest from Sunderland and Brentford, although there is now believed to be interest from the Championship.
New contenders emerge
According to TEAMtalk, Wrexham will make a stunning move for Wilson if they are promoted from the second tier.
It would mark a major statement of intent from the Red Dragons, who have made a remarkable ascent from the fifth rung of the English football ladder.
They would also have an emotional advantage in the race given Wilson was born in Wrexham and grew up supporting the club.
However, they may find themselves competing with clubs who can offer European football. Wrexham currently sit seventh in the Championship table, just outside the play-offs.
Harry Wilson’s collapsed move to Leeds United
Back in December, former Liverpool and Hull City winger Wilson lifted the lid on the proposed move to Leeds that never happened.
He said: “It was the first time it had happened to me. I'm used to watching it on Sky Sports, so to be part of it was different.

“My phone was going off every two minutes. It was going to happen, then it wasn't going to happen. Then it was back on, then it was off.
“It wasn't a certain few days or 24 hours. I didn't know where I was going to be. It was a bit of a relief when the window closed and I could concentrate on the football."
