Aston Villa could be boosted by the return of a key player for today’s clash with Leeds United.
Unai Emery’s men will be looking to get back on track after elimination from the FA Cup at the hands of Newcastle United last time out. Leeds go into the game on the back of a penalty shoot-out win over Birmingham City and in need of maintaining their six-point buffer on the relegation zone.
Speaking last week on right-back Matty Cash Emery said: "He was injured, with a small injury. I don't know if he will be available for Saturday. Each day is important for how he is progressing."
In a new update he said: “Matty Cash is coming back. He trained the last two training sessions and he is feeling good, and he is coming back.

“The players who were injured are still being injured – John McGinn, Boubacar Kamara, Youri Tielemans and Alysson. Harvey Elliott, as well, is not available for tomorrow. The other players are available.”
Marco Bizot is also suspended, having been sent-off in last weekend's FA Cup tie versus Newcastle United. With the league very much the priority, we can expect Emery to rotate in many of his first-choice players after resting a few against Newcastle.
