**Nuno Espírito Santo has named his starting XI for West Ham’s Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth on Saturday evening.**
The Hammers once again line up in a 4-3-3 formation to face the Cherries. The boss makes one change from the Irons’ 1–1 draw with Manchester United in their last league outing, with Soungoutou Magassa coming in for the suspended Freddie Potts.
LINEUP: Hermansen, Wan-Bissaka, Disasi, Mavropanos, Diouf, Souček, Fernandes, Magassa, Bowen, Summerville, Castellanos.
Axel Disasi keeps his place at centre-back, but Jean-Clair Todibo returns to the bench after serving a three-match suspension. There was debate over who would start at centre-back following the No.25’s return, but Nuno sticks with the partnership that earned him his first clean sheet as Hammers boss.
Callum Wilson scored twice in the reverse fixture at the Vitality Stadium in November. After starting against Burton Albion in the FA Cup last weekend, he drops to the bench. However, the 33-year-old is expected to feature at some point and could partner Taty Castellanos up front if the Irons find themselves behind.
Wilson and Todibo are joined on the bench by Areola, Walker-Peters, Kilman, Traoré, Scarles, Kanté and Mayers — no Pablo Felipe, who remains sidelined through injury.
If the Irons take a first-half lead as they did against Andoni Iraola’s side a few months ago, they will not be short of defensive options from the bench. However, switching to a back five has rarely brought success for West Ham this season.
Crysencio Summerville will be looking to continue his excellent run of form, but could be replaced by Adama Traoré later in the game. The Spaniard is still searching for his first goal in Claret & Blue.
All eyes are on the encounter at London Stadium, which kicks off at 5.30pm.
COME ON YOU IRONS! ⚒️
