Manchester United face Everton looking to keep up two impressive runs.
Michael Carrick has enjoyed an excellent start in charge at Manchester United, winning four of his first five games in charge. He drew the fifth, keeping up his unbeaten streak.
Carrick is also defending another streak. Manchester United are nine games unbeaten in the Premier League, with the last defeat in December away at Aston Villa.
So when was the last time Manchester United went 10 games unbeaten?
Prove me wrong: Michael Carrick has already shown enough to become permanent Man United manager.
13 points from 15 would be title winning form over a full season…

Manchester United first since 2021
Manchester United have not had a 10-game Premier League unbeaten streak since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was manager, and Michael Carrick was assistant.
Ralf Rangnick, Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim all failed to do so.
Technically Amorim will warrant some credit for this current nine-game streak. But he was only in charge for three games. Darren Fletcher took charge of one, and Carrick the remaining five.

Now Carrick is seeking a sixth when Manchester United take on Everton on Monday night, to bring United up to 10 Premier League matches in a row unbeaten.
The last time this happened was in 2021, when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer led United to 14 matches in a row unbeaten.

United away at Everton
Manchester United face Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time, aiming for victory.
A draw would keep up the unbeaten run, but it would also feel like points dropped. Carrick’s United are going there to win.
United are in the race to secure a Champions League spot, and currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League table.
But as we are playing on Monday night, we could have dropped a position or two.
Chelsea are at home to relegation-threatened Burnley, while Liverpool play away at Nottingham Forest. Third placed Aston Villa are at home to Leeds.
