Alan Shearer makes 'amazing' Everton prediction which spells bad news for Man United

Alan Shearer thinks Everton fans are going to create an ‘amazing’ atmosphere that could even help their side clinch a result against Manchester United.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for Everton over recent months, with no win since December.

Everton fans will unveil a historic flag display at the Hill Dickinson Stadium ahead of kick-off against Man United on Monday evening.

David Moyes will be hoping to see a huge atmosphere on the Liverpool docks as his side desperately search for three points.

Adjusting to the new stadium has taken some time for Everton fans, but Shearer is expecting the Evertonians to bring the noise against United.

Alan Shearer and David Moyes are expecting huge Hill Dickinson Stadium atmosphere in Everton vs Man United

Everton have played in six Monday night games this season, but fans are set to embrace a big game under the lights.

Speaking to Metro, Shearer has predicted a draw on Monday evening, with the Hill Dickinson Stadium atmosphere expected to be ‘amazing’.

“It is a tough one, but I think the atmosphere will be amazing and it’ll be tough for Man United regardless of the good form they are in. I think I’m going to say a draw,” said Shearer.

Everton have the eighth-highest average attendance in the Premier League at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

However, the Blues have lost in their games against some of the so-called bigger clubs, with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal both securing three points.

Shearer’s sentiment is shared by Moyes as he commented on the work of The 1878s group.

“The people who make football clubs are the supporters. Inside the stadium, they are the ones who make the big difference,” Moyes said on Friday.

“And if they can help make a difference on Monday night, that’ll be very much appreciated.”
