Everton take on Manchester United on Monday, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could achieve a very rare feat.
It has felt like an eternity since Everton last played, having taken on Bournemouth almost two weeks ago now at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton not being in the FA Cup saw them not play last weekend, and the scheduling has placed this game with United last in the current gameweek.
So the players will be itching to return to action.
And perhaps no one more so than Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who could do something very rare.

BBC Sport have published some interesting statistics about tomorrow night’s game.
And one is that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall actually stands to become the first English player to score in both league games against Man United in a season in 53 years.

The last English player to do this was Andy King all the way back in the 1978/79 season.

Dewsbury-Hall scored Everton’s only goal in the 1-0 win against United at Old Trafford back in November.
Given how many English players have represented Everton since that King double, and how many times the two teams have met, it is somewhat surprising that no English player has scored in both games since King.
Dewsbury-Hall may or may not be aware, but hopefully he will find the net again tomorrow night and help Everton to a big three points.
Everton also stand to achieve rare league double over Man United
After that win back in November, tomorrow night’s game is also big in terms of Everton doing a league double over United.
This has not happened for 12 years.
Roberto Martinez guided Everton to a 1-0 win at Old Trafford, before then masterminding a 2-0 victory at Goodison Park in the reverse fixture.

The game will be a challenge for Everton.
Michael Carrick has come in and made a big impact at United, and they are now currently one of the form sides in the Premier League, taking 13 points from their last five games since he came in.
And Everton, of course, have been faltering at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. So a big performance will be required.
