Florian Wirtz has dropped out of Liverpool’s starting lineup for the clash with Nottingham Forest, with Arne Slot forced into a change just before kickoff.
Wirtz was named in the XI to face Forest at the City Ground but has dropped out due to injury shortly before kickoff as Curtis Jones takes his place.
It serves as a major blow to Slot’s plans with the No. 7 undoubtedly one of the most important players in his 4-2-3-1 setup.
Dominik Szoboszlai remains at right-back with Jones taking over as No. 10 instead.
