Liverpool have kept their faint hopes of a Champions League spot alive with a smash and grab win over Nottingham Forest.
Arne Slot's side had a chance to steal a march on Manchester United - who don't play until Monday evening - with three points against an out of form Forest at the City Ground.
However, the Reds were pedestrian for the opening half, as Slot's passive side were played off the park by Forest, who's last Premier League home win came back in December, but Alexis Mac Allister was able to win it in the 96th minute.

It was a smash and grab for the Reds, with Slot's decision to play Dominik Szoboszlai at full-back almost costing the Reds.
Liverpool have faced an injury crisis this season, but Slot's solution to play the Hungarian - who has won so many games from the middle of the park - at full-back is borderline baffling.
Szoboszlai hasn't just been Liverpool's best player this season, he has been one of the league's top talents - and yet Slot is still insisting on playing him at the back.

During the first-half, Forest, who are hovering above the drop zone, were playing with the swagger and confidence of team pushing for Europe. They were able to break through the lines with ease.
And without their creator-in-chief in the middle, Liverpool looked void of ideas.
It wasn't too much of a surprise that when he was moved into the middle, the Reds had their best period of the game - and, for once, looked the better team.
Jamie Carragher, however, directed his fury at another player. Speaking on Sky Sports at half-time, he said: "I would be surprised if Jones came back out after the break. He takes too long on the ball, I don't think he'll ever take that out of his game.
"Liverpool were having major problems early on in the game and it hasn't subsided. Liverpool have been monstered physically. This team cannot cope when it's end-to-end in the Premier League.
"That's why they look so good in the Champions League. Nottingham Forest have let themselves down. They haven't got that goal."
However, there was still time for some controversy as Alexis Mac Allister thought he had saved Liverpool's blushes with a freak goal in the 90th minute.
His celebrations were cut short when VAR alerted the on-field referee that the ball struck Mac Allister's elbow before ending up in the back of the net.
And yet, with that stoppage, it meant there was still time for Liverpool to find the back of the net - Mac Allister lashing the ball with the anger of a man who had already been denied once.
The Reds remain sixth in the table, but are level on points with United
