Vitor Pereira is certain the goals will come for Nottingham Forest after their frustrating 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.
A late Alexis Mac Allister goal meant the Reds had nothing to show for a terrific effort against the defending Premier League champions. They dominated the first half but could not make the most of their good play and were left floored by a winner deep into added time.
Finding the back of the net has been a problem for Forest all season. It is an issue they will need to correct in their remaining 11 league games as they battle to stay up.

“We are creating,” Pereira said. “In the first half, we crossed a lot of balls into the box and tried to shoot a lot. We tried to get one on one situations.
“Every time, we were ready to attack and not allow them chances. We played very good football. The second half was not the same because it was impossible to have the same energy.
“Frustrated. Frustrated inside. Angry with football. It is time to keep the mentality and come back stronger and with confidence to face the future.
“First half, we played the way we did in Istanbul but we didn’t score. We created two good chances to score but we didn’t.”
The Reds had shown their intent from the off as they looked to build on their 3-0 Europa League play-off first leg win over Fenerbahce on Thursday night. Pereira had stuck with the same starting XI from Istanbul, but admitted the quick turnaround had not been easy to deal with.

Pereira admitted he had “some doubts” about the decision. His team are just two points above the relegation zone with 11 games remaining.
“I’m very frustrated today and it is very difficult to go inside the dressing room,” said the Portuguese. “What can I say to them? They did everything to try to win.
“We wanted to win the game. In the end, it was not one point, it was zero.
