Alexis Mac Allister’s goal deep into added time earned Liverpool an important victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday.
Liverpool arrived at The City Ground having won just two of their previous eight league games, and the Reds thought they had taken the lead when Mac Allister found the back of the net.
The Argentine’s strike was disallowed for handball, but he once again put the ball beyond Stefan Ortega in the 97th minute, bundling in after Virgil van Dijk’s header had been saved.
The Dutchman initially looked to have been in an offside position, but the goal was cleared and Arne Slot’s side have now won consecutive Premier League games for the first time since December.
Away from the action, a report from Germany has claimed that the Premier League champions have already agreed a deal to sign one of Europe’s most in-demand attackers.
As per Bayern Space, via TEAMtalk, Bayern Munich are interested in RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande, but have been told that Liverpool have already reached an agreement with the youngster.

Diomande, 19, joined Leipzig from Spanish side Leganes last summer and is currently enjoying a fine debut season in Germany.
The winger has scored nine goals and provided seven assists across all competitions so far, and his impressive displays have attracted interest from clubs in Germany and beyond.
It is claimed that Leipzig are set to demand a fee in the region of £88 million to allow Diomande to leave the club this summer, however Bundesliga champions Bayern believe that the player has already agreed a move to Anfield.
Diomande’s contract with Leipzig is set to run until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, with the Ivorian having signed a long-term deal when joining the club last summer.
