After 13 days without a game, Manchester United will finally take to the field again tonight when they face Everton in the Premier League.
Being dumped out of both domestic cup competitions and no European football has meant United have plenty of free midweeks this season. Michael Carrick has had plenty of time on the training ground with his players since the draw with West Ham and it will be interesting to see whether any tactical tweaks are made at the Hill Dickinson Stadium tonight.
In terms of the team news, Mason Mount could be in line for a return to the matchday squad after injury, but Matthijs de Ligt and Patrick Dorgu remain unavailable.
Our writers have had their say on how they think United should line up tonight:

I'd make just one change from the draw with West Ham because Benjamin Sesko must start. The striker should have started at the London Stadium, but Carrick named him on the bench and waited too long in the second half to introduce him. Thankfully, Sesko was still able to salvage a point in added time.
United lacked a focal point and struggled to break down West Ham. Everton will pose a similar challenge - they will defend deep - and Sesko will be needed to bring his teammates into the game.

The problem is it feels harsh to drop either Matheus Cunha or Amad, even though the latter has not recorded a goal or an assist since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations. It might be a marginal call for Carrick, but Amad should probably move to the bench to accommodate Sesko.

Carrick has been loyal with his starting XI since returning to United and changes have only been enforced by injuries. That should change at Everton.

Sesko saved United at West Ham and his form has been impressive since Ruben Amorim left. If he were to start, Amad is the obvious player to drop out.Bryan Mbeumo has been brilliant this season, while Cunha is the only option on the left due to Patrick Dorgu's injury. Amad has been quiet in recent games so a spell out of the team could do him some good.
