The Clarets have bounced back from a run of 16 games without a win with a four-point haul from back-to-back away games at Crystal Palace and Chelsea respectively.
Parker’s side could easily have gone under in both games, trailing 2-0 at Selhurst Park before going back to claim a remarkable 3-2 win thanks to a crazy seven-minute spell before half time.
But while some may have questioned Burnley’s resilience during their winter of discontent, Parker was never in any doubt.
“Honestly that has never been in question,” he said.
“As long as I sit in this chair, it will never be in question. It will never be in question in any of my teams really.

“We've had a big challenge this year, of course we have, and at times we've fallen a little bit short in terms of levels or in terms of the quality.
“We've come into a big league and at times we've just fallen a little bit short on that. The one thing we have not fallen short on is the resilience that this group has shown tirelessly, tirelessly and tirelessly.
“This pressure has increased tenfold at times where it's come on top, and for such a young group, they bounce back.
“Ten days ago, going away to Crystal Palace, every single person watching that game there in the stadium, watching from afar, seeing it on a text message that Burnley had gone 2-0 down after 20 minutes, no-one would have ever thought Burnley would have come back. “And that's down to, we seem to be able to dust ourselves off, we keep fighting, we keep coming, and they get exactly the same today [against Chelsea], so I'm immensely proud of the boys and they deserve that.”
