Everton vs Manchester United: Predicted Line-Up | Who plays at right back?

Everton are coming off a twelve-day break enforced by their exit from the FA Cup, but the big question will once again be - will they come out flat at Hill Dickinson Stadium tonight like they often do at home, or will they play the same brand of ferocious road football that has seen them pick up six wins away from home?

Moyes will have almost a full squad; Jack Grealish is out for the season and Jake O’Brien is suspended for picking up a sending off in the home defeat against Bournemouth.

Interim Red Devils boss Michael Carrick will be missing Patrick Dorgu and Matthijs de Ligt, with Mason Mount unlikely to feature either.

Who’s Out?

Jack Grealish (foot) is out, and Jake O’Brien is suspended. Moyes added that Seamus Coleman is fully fit and available for selection.

Everton squad available vs Manchester United

Goalkeepers: Pickford, Travers, King

Defenders: Keane, Branthwaite, Tarkowski, O’Brien (SUSPENDED), Mykolenko, Coleman, Patterson, Aznou

Midfielders: Gueye, Garner, Iroegbunam, Dewsbury-Hall, Röhl, Armstrong

Wingers: McNeil, Ndiaye, Grealish (INJURED), Dibling, Alcaraz

Strikers: Beto, Barry

Tactics and Formation

Everton will likely stick to the 4-2-3-1 they’ve used so far.

Starters (likelihood of starting rated out of 10)

Jordan Pickford – 9/10

Vitaliy Mykolenko – 8/10

Jarrad Branthwaite - 9/10

James Tarkowski – 9/10

Seamus Coleman - 6/10 Does the veteran still have the legs to play?

James Garner - 9/10

Idrissa Gueye - 7/10 Gana has been poor since returning from AFCON, but did he just need a break or is he finally slowing down?

Tyrique George – 7/10 Was up and down in his first start, but should get another chance from the off.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 9/10

Iliman Ndiaye – 9/10

Thierno Barry – 9/10

Mark Travers

Nathan Patterson

Adam Aznou

Michael Keane

Merlin Rohl

Harrison Armstrong

Carlos Alcaraz - There is the possibility Moyes puts Garner at right back, which then means Dewsbury-Hall slots in next to Gana and Alcaraz is then available to play at his favoured #10 position.

Tyler Dibling

The Blues can only dress nine subs, so it’s Dwight McNeil and Tim Iroegbunam who will miss out.
