Wolves Player Ratings from Selhurst Park
Player-by-player ratings BY NICK PARKES as Wolves lose 1-0 at Selhurst Park.
JOSE Sa – 6.5
A decent game, commanded his box and cleared danger well. Great composure to evade defenders on the half hour mark. Could do little with the goal.
Jackson Tchatchoua – 5
Looked to be aggressive going forward. Poor crossing and passing ability.
Yerson Mosquera – 4
Extremely sloppy back pass which should have led to a Palace goal early on. Also, ball-watched and not close to his man for the only goal of the game. Erratic throughout.
Ladislav Krejci – 6
Kept Sarr quiet throughout the game. Difficult to say if he heard the referee’s whistle for the second yellow but very harsh to be sent off for that (considering the red cards Palace should have received)
Santi Bueno – 7
Gave Larsen next to nothing to work with. Right places, right times more often than not. A solid game.
Hugo Bueno – 6
Solid defensively overall, looked to be aggressive early on in attack.
Mateus Mane – 5
Fairly quiet but did find pockets of space at times. Was key in the penalty and also a great turn on half way played in Tolu. Did give the ball away a lot, and played the ball backwards far too often when in attacking positions.
Andre – 6
Good hustle and kept Palace midfield quiet. Did well to start the attack which led to the penalty. Broke up the play well.
Jean Ricner Bellegarde – 6
A decent shift in midfield. Pressed well and was unlucky with his deflected shot which was well saved. A good free-kick was also well saved. Didn’t break the lines much.
Adam Armstrong – 7.5 – Man of the Match
Despite being subbed after the red card, Armstrong had a solid afternoon. Caused little in attack but the way he pressed Palace and looked to link up with fellow players was great. Never stopped running.
Tolu Arokodare- 3
Not a good performance from the Wolves striker. Missed a penalty, had weak headers on goal, a very poor shot after being played in by Mane. Slow on his feet and didn’t read the play well at all.
Subs
David Moller Wolfe – 4
Didn’t do a lot wrong when he came on for Armstrong. Wolves was under the pump but he did his defensive responsibilities well.
