Crystal Palace are now looking to get another one over Wolverhampton Wanderers by signing a "fantastic footballer", who is set to be available on a free transfer this summer.
Palace survive scare to emerge victorious against Wolves
Palace made things difficult for themselves against Wolves on Sunday, and had to rely on Dean Henderson saving a Tolu Arokodare penalty in the first half, but they ultimately managed to emerge victorious against Rob Edwards' side.
Evann Guessand's 90th-minute winner was the difference between the two sides, with the 24-year-old bagging his first goal for the Eagles, and the result leaves them in 13th place, ten points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
Oliver Glasner's side haven't been in the best of form in recent weeks, drawing 1-1 against Zrinjski Mostar in the Europa Conference League, so it was important the Austrian's side bounced back with a win against a struggling Old Gold side.
However, with protests taking place during the game, it is very important Steve Parish & co get things right in the summer, at which point the chairman will be tasked with bringing in a replacement for Glasner, and making improvements to the squad.
According to a report from Caught Offside, Crystal Palace have now entered the race to sign Liverpool star Andy Robertson, and they could get another one over Wolves, who are also in the race for the left-back's signature.
There is certainly no shortage of potential suitors for the defender, as Celtic, Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa are also named as interested parties, with Robertson set to be available on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.
"Fantastic" Robertson could be solid signing for Palace
Crystal Palace are already relatively well-stocked at left-back, with Tyrick Mitchell and Borna Sosa on the books, although the latter has been unable to force his way into Glasner's plans, appearing for just 53 minutes in the Premier League all season.
The long-serving Liverpool man could be more capable of pushing for Mitchell's starting spot, given that he is very experienced, making 324 appearances in the Premier League, during which time the Scot has amassed 11 goals and 60 assists.

Broadcaster David Tanner is a big fan of the full-back, lauding him as a "fantastic footballer" earlier this season, while also describing the 31-year-old as an "admirable leader", which could make him a useful option for Palace, who lost former captain Marc Guehi in January.
Robertson could be a solid signing for Palace, and his availability on a free transfer at the end of the season is an added bonus.
