Senne Lammens ascended to the Manchester United No 1 role in the 2025-26 campaign after the Red Devils signed him from Royal Antwerp last September.
The Belgium international’s arrival at Old Trafford paved the way for Andre Onana to be shipped out to Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor in a loan deal in 2025.
Andre Onana lost his place as the United No 1 under Ruben Amorim, who turned to Altay Bayindir earlier in the season ahead of Lammens’ 2025 move to England.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall broke the deadlock for Everton against United in the 29th minute and the Red Devils would eventually lose 1-0 to the 10-man Toffees.
Speaking to Premier League productions, Lammens insisted that it was incredibly important for the Red Devils to deliver a result for United fans this time around.
“I think I would say it every week that it’s an important game, but especially this one for me, because our home game against them was a really tough loss, playing against 10 men as well, so I think we also owe it to ourselves and to the fans to keep that in mind and to get a reaction,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.

Senne Lammens on Man Utd’s Premier League run of form under Michael Carrick ahead of the Everton match
United are challenging for the Premier League top four after a turnaround in form under Michael Carrick in the post-Ruben Amorim era of the Red Devils.
Lammens insisted that the Red Devils must be able to tap into their momentum after Man Utd have had a 12-day period between Premier League matches this month.
“I think the way we’re playing right now, of course, with the last five games, which were good, you just want to keep that momentum going after a week without a game,” he added.
Everton now host Carrick’s Man Utd side at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for an 8pm kick-off time in the UK for their Premier League clash on Monday evening.
