David Moyes reflects on his Man United tenure

Moyes was asked about his previous tenure as Man United manager in Friday’s press conference.

“It’s where life takes you isn’t it?

“I had a great time there even though it lasted a very short period, but I also have things I wished I could have done better.

“If I got another go at it I think I would have done things slightly different, but that’s what happens when you look back on things.”

The Everton boss also reflected on his second spell on Merseyside so far: “I think the big thing that I wanted us to do at Everton was to make us competitive with the so-called big teams at the top of the league.

“And I think we have tried to do that. We haven’t won all the games, but we have been competitive.”
