Everton are eyeing a summer transfer for Bristol City midfielder Jason Knight.
It was reported last week that Everton are closely monitoring Jason Knight, who also has interest from West Ham United and Leeds United.
Knight, despite only turning 25 earlier this month, is Bristol’s captain and is one of the most consistent performers in the Championship.

Everton interested in Levante striker Etta Eyong.
The Everton target has already racked up 41 appearances for the Republic of Ireland, and he has drawn comparisons to his compatriot Roy Keane.
Everton target Jason Knight is ‘Roy-Keane-esque’
Due to his nationality, Knight is naturally earning comparisons to Keane, but they do actually have a similar playstyle.
The 2001-born is a very robust box-to-box midfielder who loves to make an impact at both ends of the pitch.

Last season, Knight registered a very commendable nine goal involvements for The Robins and speaking after one of his strikes last season, Not The Top 20 podcast pundit Ali Maxwell made the Keane comparison.
“Jason Knight with a big captain’s thumping header,” Maxwell said.
“That was Roy Keane-esque stuff, attacking the front post and heading home the equaliser.”
Wayne Rooney has also heaped praise on Knight previously, labelling him a ‘manager’s dream’.
Jason Knight can operate as a number 10
If Everton were to sign Knight, he’d be a very versatile option to have in the squad, as his former Derby manager Paul Warne believes his best position is actually as a number 10, rather than as a central midfielder.
Speaking in 2023, Warne said: “He’s an absolute joy to watch.
“Knighty, for me, is my favoured 10 because he gives you so much in and out of possession.
“In fairness, when I watch the game back there will be little things that he does that I didn’t even notice.”
The Irishman is under contract at Ashton Gate until 2027, so Bristol may decide to cash in the summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
