Brighton vs Nottingham Forest early team news: Two outs and three doubts

Brighton vs Nottingham Forest in the Premier league from the Amex Stadium - Sunday, 2pm

Brighton's win against Brentford was a huge boost after a poor recent run of form.

Goals from Diego Gomez and Danny Welbeck - his ninth league goal of the season - secured a 2-0 win at the Gtech Stadium and eased some relegation concerns.

Attention will now switch to Nottingham Forest, who arrive at the Amex Stadium having suffered a 1-0 loss to Liverpool at the City Ground last weekend.

Vítor Pereira's struggling team are 17th in the Premier league table and will be in European action on Thursday night as they face Fenerbahce in a Europa League play-off.

Remarkably, Pereira is Forest's fourth manager this season, while in contrast, Brighton stuck with their man Hurzeler despite a few wobbles this season.

Brighton injury latest

Stefanos Tzimas - out The Greek striker sustained an ACL injury during the 4-3 loss to Aston Villa earlier this campaign and is set to miss the rest of the season.

A huge blow for club and player as the £22m man was just starting to show his best form following his move from FC Nurnberg.

Adam Webster - out The experienced defender continues his recovery from an ACL injury picked up in pre-season training. Like Tzimas, Webstr is expected to miss the entirety of the season and return for the next campaign.

Hurzeler continues to praise Webster for his attitude and the role he plays as one the club's leaders.

Solly March - doubt The experienced wideman is nearing a return after a persistent long term knee issues. Hurzeler said March "may" return to the matchday squad at Brentford but he just missed out.

Nottingham Forest at the Amex could now be an opportunity for him. A fit and firing March will be a huge boost for the closing stages of the campaign.

Yasin Ayari - doubt The Sweden international was described as "getting closer" ahead of the Brentford match.

The 22-year-old has missed the last four fixtures with a shoulder issue and he now has another week to try and fully recover ahead of Nottingham Forest. He's been a huge player for Fabian Hurzeler.

James Milner - doubt The 40-year-old Premier League appearance record holder hobbled off during the closing stages of the 2-0 win at Brentford. He has a whole week to rest and recovery after an excellent performance at the Gtech.

Don't put it past him to start again - especially if Ayari is a doubt, although Carlos Baleba will hope to force his way back in the team.
