Lisandro Martinez has missed the clash after he suffered a ‘minor calf issue’, with Leny Yoro selected to start alongside Harry Maguire in central defence.

United are still without the injured trio of Matthijs De Ligt, Patrick Dorgu and Mason Mount, with none of the players fit enough to be involved at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Moorhouse was named on the substitute bench against Tottenham and Arsenal last season but has yet to make his competitive debut for his boyhood club. The youngster was recalled from his loan spell at Leyton Orient at the start of the month, and it was decided he should remain at the club for the remainder of the campaign to offer cover for the first team.

He made his debut for United's U18 side when he was just 15 and has been a regular for the U21 side since making the step up last summer. Although born in Manchester, Moorhouse is eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland and received his first U21 cap at the international level last year.
