Amad Diallo made way at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and Benjamin Sesko came off the bench, with the 22-year-old striker making a huge impact on the match.

Benjamin Sesko curled a stunning low strike into the bottom right corner of Jordan Pickford’s net to put Manchester United 1-0 up against Everton on Monday.
The United summer signing has become a key ‘superb sub’ for Michael Carrick, who has not started Sesko in his first six Premier League matches as interim manager.

But Sesko has found the back of the net three times in his last five appearances from the Red Devils’ bench after Carrick has turned to him in recent weeks.

Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of Sesko’s opener against Everton, Gary Neville felt that Carrick made the correct decision to take Amad Diallo off in the second half.
“He’s done the right thing there, Carrick,” he said.
“There’s no point in waiting 20 to 25 minutes in a game that is quite clearly not going his way. He had to interfere with that.”

Sesko has scored five times in United’s last seven matches and the Red Devils ace has been growing in confidence in the final third during his debut season at the club.
Carrick has been relying on Bryan Mbeumo to lead the frontline for Man Utd’s attack, with Sesko dropping to the bench in the post-Ruben Amorim era at Old Trafford.
But Sesko’s impact in Man Utd’s 3-2 win over Fulham and 1-1 draw against West Ham at the London Stadium has shown his undeniable importance to Carrick.
The ex-RB Leipzig and Salzburg striker has produced another superb goalscoring finish against Everton and all eyes are on him getting into the starting XI now.
