The Premier League have confirmed Everton’s trip to Arsenal on Sunday, 15 March could be rescheduled due to the Gunners’ Champions League commitments.
Everton will have to wait until after the Champions League knockout stage draw on Friday before the Premier League makes a decision on the fixture.
There have already been a number of fixtures rearranged for David Moyes’ side this season, with the Blues rarely playing in the 3pm Saturday slot.
Everton have played six Monday Night Football fixtures, which already exceeds the quota set by the Premier League.

Premier League confirmed Arsenal vs Everton date could be changed
The fixture rests on whether UEFA schedule Arsenal to play on Tuesday 17 March, as that would mean Mikel Arteta’s side could not play on the Sunday prior.
Everton have hopes of playing in Europe next season, but the match-going supporters have witnessed so many fixture changes this season despite not having any European commitments of their own.

“Unfortunately, UEFA has not been able to provide any guarantees on its scheduling ahead of the draw,” read the Premier League statement.
“As a result, the Premier League now faces the possibility of re-scheduling its fixtures at even shorter notice, at the inconvenience of supporters and clubs.”
The fixture is scheduled to be played at 2pm on Sunday 15 March at the Emirates Stadium, but UEFA holds the fixture’s fate in their hands now.
Everton supporters have been shown very little consideration by those who decide when the games will be played. So, this news won’t surprise many on Merseyside.
