Everton have capitalised on the hype as they’ve introduced it as a new menu item at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton posted on X: “Loaded jacket potatoes have landed at Hill Dickinson Stadium!

“Keep it classic with baked beans, mature cheddar and crispy onions, or turn up the flavour with chicken tikka, mint yoghurt and crispy onions.

“Now available at Humble Spud, open on the East Stand ground floor. The ultimate comfort food for those colder nights under the lights.”

How much do Everton earn in revenue from the Hill Dickinson Stadium?

Everton have been really commercially savvy at the new 52,000-seater stadium, and this is another small example of how they’re looking to increase revenue across the board.

The move to the Hill Dickinson has been transformative for the club’s finances, as they’re estimated to earn an extra £40m in revenue per year.

Surely it’s high time for a Neville Southall statue to be erected at the Hill Dickinson Stadium?

Jamie Carragher, who ranked Southall 8th in his top 10 list of PL goalkeepers, reckons so… 🗿

The downside to the stadium move has been the results, as the Toffees have really struggled to make it feel like a fortress.

Moyes’ side lost 1-0 to Man United at home last night, which was their seventh game without a win on their own patch.

Tony Bellew believes opposition teams are enjoying playing at Everton’s stadium too much.

“It’s known now that every team going to a new stadium struggles in their first couple of seasons. I don’t think it’s down to atmosphere. I just feel it’s such a beautiful great, place to be that away teams are thinking, ‘I like it here, it’s lovely’.

“And they’re enjoying themselves a bit too much. I do think that will change eventually.”
