A look at the early injury news ahead of Crystal Palace’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Palace have now won two of their last three Premier League outings, taking steps towards Premier League safety, but there is still some work to do. Manchester United are currently in control of fourth place and come into this one on the back of a narrow win over Everton on Monday night.

Here we round up the early injury news surrounding both teams ahead of this one.

Patrick Dorgu - Out

Dorgu will be out until the back-end of March with a hamstring issue he picked up in January.

Matthijs de Ligt - Out

Carrick said last week: “Pat, unfortunately, he's going to be out for a period of time. We're still working through how long that's going to be. We weren't sure whether it was a little bit of cramp or whether it was something a little bit more serious, and at the moment, it looks a little bit more on the serious note.”

Mason Mount - Doubt

Mount could have a chance of making this one Carrick said last week: “Yeah, Mason is getting closer. I think we've been patient, so we don't want to push anything... We want him back, and he can have a big impact. He's getting closer, which is good for us.”

Lisandro Martinez - Doubt

Martinez appeared to tweak his calf last time out. It’s unlikely he will make this game, but we he will go down as a doubt until Carrick rules him out.

Cheick Doucoure - Out

Glasner said in his last update: “The only ones are Cheick - there's still a long way to go for him - and Eddie Nketiah.” He is expected to be out until May.

Eddie Nketiah - Out

The same update applies.

Jean-Philippe Mateta - Out

Glasner said last week: “JP is now in his rehab process. I hope he will be back in the next two or three weeks.”

Jefferson Lerma - Out

Glasner has confirmed: “Jeff Lerma had to go off against Burnley. He has a hamstring injury. We're expecting to miss him for about three weeks.”

Maxence Lacroix - Doubt

Glasner said after the Conference League game last week: “How it looked like yesterday, yes, but again, we will assess him further with training in the afternoon... But yeah, he had to be subbed because he had problems with his adductor, and he mentioned it at HT already, so it doesn't look really good.” It’s unlikely the centre-back will be back here, but we will see what Glasner has to say before ruling him out.
