Euro club now in agreement to sign Man Utd star in the summer, personal terms reached

Besiktas have reached an agreement with Manchester United over a summer transfer move for Turkey international goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, according to Sporx.

The Super Lig club have also secured personal terms with the out-of-favour Man United goalie.

Besiktas will pay the Red Devils €5 million, and Bayindir will leave the Old Trafford club once the summer transfer window opens.

They wanted to sign him during the last winter transfer window but Man United were not keen on losing their second-choice goalie.

The 27-year-old started the season as the first-choice for the Red Devils in goal after former manager Ruben Amorim dropped Andre Onana.

However, Senne Lammens has taken the spot in recent months, playing 21 league games and keeping five clean sheets.

The Belgian put in a man-of-the-match performance in the 1-0 win over Everton on Monday night and is consolidating his position as the new number 1 with some calming and reassuring performances every game.

Bayindir has played six games this term and made 17 appearances since joining Man United from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2023.

He has been unable to establish himself as a key player for the Red Devils and is not set to return home to play more regularly going forward.

Radek Vitek is expected to be integrated into the Man United first-team after his impressive loan spell in the Championship with Bristol City.
