Getafe boss Jose Bordelas has been one name mentioned with the manager’s job, after catching the eye with his impressive form in LaLiga throughout 2025/26.
The 61-year-old has led the side to 13th place in Spain’s top-flight, sitting five points above the drop zone, and allowing the side to massively punch above their weight.
Bordelas isn’t the only manager currently being considered by the Eagles board at present, with former Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford boss Thomas Frank also in their sights.

He’s already netted two goals and laid on an assist in his first four appearances for the Eagles, with the forward already handing the fanbase a glimpse of what could be in store during his time at the club.
However, he would further benefit from the possible arrival of Sean Dyche at Selhurst Park, with the 54-year-old another manager who’s currently in the frame for Glasner’s job.
It’s been reported in recent days that the former Forest boss would be extremely keen on taking the reins at Selhurst Park should he be offered the job on a permanent basis.

Despite the possibility of the experienced Premier League boss taking the reins, it’s unclear if the Eagles' hierarchy would be considering appointing him this summer.
However, any appointment could be perfect for the new big-money talisman, with Dyche previously showcasing he’s able to get the best out of the strikers at his disposal.
The former Forest boss, who’s been dubbed “phenomenal” by writer Thore Haugstad, managed to get the best out of Igor Jesus during his time in charge at the City Ground.
The Brazilian managed to register eight combined goals and assists in his 23 appearances under the 54-year-old, the most of any striker he had at his disposal.

As for the former Forest boss, his record of a 40% win rate at the City Ground showcases his success, with many seeing his dismissal somewhat controversial at the time.
There’s no doubt that any move for Dyche would be an unpopular one amongst the Eagles fanbase, but it would be one that would allow the club to have a proven top-flight boss.
