Report: Manchester United U18 6-1 Derby County U18

Derby County Under-18s were consigned to a 6-1 defeat on the road against Manchester United in Premier League – North on Wednesday afternoon.

Jay McEvoy gave the hosts the lead after six minutes at Carrington Training Complex.

Sean Corry levelled things in the 28th minute in a competitive first half, but two goals just before half-time, with a Joseph Gabriel penalty and a strike from Noah Ajayi seeing United take the advantage into the break.

Louie Bradbury struck in the 67th minute to grasp the contest in the hosts' hands before Gabriel netted again five minutes later, before Ajayi sealed the win nine minutes from time.

Bradley Johnson’s Under-18s side will look to bounce back in the league when they face Manchester City at Moor Farm Training Centre on Saturday morning.
