Newcastle United vs Everton injury news ahead of the Premier League clash at St James’ Park.
Everton aim to get themselves back to winning ways when they travel to Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Toffees head to St James’ Park after successive losses to AFC Bournemouth and Manchester United respectively. David Moyes’ side showed spirit against Man United, but lacked a cutting edge and fell to a 1-0 defeat.
Everton’s issues since moving to Hill Dickinson Stadium have been well-documented and they’re without a home victory in the Premier League since 6 December. The Blues’ form on their travels is the reason why they are ninth in the table and are in contention for European qualification. Moyes’ men have accrued 21 points on the road.
Everton face a Newcastle side that have underwhelmed in terms of their domestic form. The Magpies are 11th and one points below the Toffees. Eddie Howe’s troops earned a 3-2 victory over Qarabag in the Champions League knockout play-off second leg earlier this week, booking their spot in the last 16.
Ahead of the game, here’s a look at the current injury news for both sides.
