Senne Lammens, Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko all made their way through the Old Trafford doors under former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.
Ineos sent a statement of intent by bringing the four aforementioned Manchester United players to the Premier League club, marking a new era for Ruben Amorim.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s regime backed the 41-year-old Portuguese coach with Senne Lammens, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha before sacking him.
United In Focus has decided to rate each of Amorim’s four major summer signings after the Red Devils crossed the halfway point in the 2025-26 campaign.
Diego Leon arrived at Old Trafford during the summer window as well, but he has been left out of the rankings due to his agreement being made in January 2025.

4. Benjamin Sesko (Man Utd and Slovenia striker)
Benjamin Sesko’s debut season at Old Trafford has been hit and miss, but there is no denying that the potential is there with the 22-year-old Slovenian forward.

Signed from RB Leipzig in a deal worth £73.7m last August, the Slovenia international has netted eight times and picked up an assist in 24 matches so far.
Sesko had been a key player for former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, who had made him his main pick to lead the frontline ahead of Joshua Zirkzee.
The United striker has found himself on the bench under interim boss Michael Carrick, but he has impressed as an impact sub and his form has been picking up.

3. Matheus Cunha (Man Utd and Brazil forward)
Just like Sesko, the consistency of Matheus Cunha has been brought into question at times in the 2025-26 season after his stunning £62.5m move from Wolves last June.
Outside of Sesko’s recent goalscoring form under Michael Carrick, however, there is a noticeable difference when Cunha is in the starting XI compared with the striker.

Cunha’s flair and creativity on the left wing under Carrick – and the left-sided No 10 role under Amorim – have been an absolute delight to watch for all United fans.
The only real thing that has been missing from the 26-year-old Brazilian forward has been replicating his scintillating form for Wolves last season in the current campaign.

2. Senne Lammens (Man Utd and Belgium shot-stopper)
Gone are the days of Man Utd fans holding their heads in their hands or biting their nails amid Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir performances between the sticks.
Andre Onana was offloaded to Super Lig side Trabzonspor last September and Altay Bayindir has a better chance of finding a new club than dethroning Senne Lammens.
Lammens has looked assured, commanding and calm as Man Utd No 1 – and it feels right to call him David de Gea’s natural heir to the key role at the Red Devils.
To adapt from Belgian Pro League football to Premier League football in such a short space of time is a testament to Lammens’ season since his exit from Royal Antwerp.

1. Bryan Mbeumo (Man Utd and Cameroon forward)
Whether it is former Red Devils boss Amorim or United legend Carrick, there is no denying that Bryan Mbeumo is simply inevitable for his influence on the pitch.
All eyes were on the Cunha signing that was first through the doors last summer, but that quickly changed with United’s big-money move for Mbeumo from Brentford.
The 26-year-old Cameroon international has immediately adapted to life at Old Trafford, with Mbeumo netting 10 times and picking up three assists in 23 matches.
United finally have another powerful attacking force outside of Bruno Fernandes – and Mbeumo’s absence was notable when he went off to the 2025 AFCON tournament.
