Wayne Rooney’s verdict on Benjamin Sesko
Sesko has already surpassed his goal tally under Ruben Amorim since Carrick returned to Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old scored two goals under Amorim, but he has been given a new lease of life with Carrick as head coach, even though he is still waiting for his first start under the former United midfielder.
The resurgence of Sesko is a huge positive in United’s quest to secure Champions League qualification, but the club’s record scorer, Wayne Rooney, has stressed that the young forward is still a “work in progress”.
