Tyler Adams has poured praise on Manchester United talisman Bruno Fernandes – and the Old Trafford faithful will completely echo his statements.
When speaking with Men in Blazers this week, the United States captain said: “It’s impossible to take Bruno Fernandes out of a game. He can make something out of nothing, but also, he just goes and finds the game.

“He completely ruins your tactics in the way that you want to play. Bruno Fernandes should be here, but 70 per cent of the game, he won’t be there.
“I’m not really around him, I’m not able to defend him, so it becomes difficult, but he’s a ridiculously talented player.”

United fans are the last people who need to be reminded of the impact their skipper has each week. Remarkably, he’s been maintaining the same world-class levels for five-and-a-half years.
To sum it up from a club perspective, Fernandes has won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award in four of the five seasons he’s represented United.
This season alone, he is, statistically, the most creative player across all of Europe’s top-five leagues.

It’s actually the first campaign since arriving in M16 that the Portuguese star has been able to take something of a backseat in providing virtually everything in attack, as summer signings Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and, more recently, Benjamin Sesko have enjoyed tremendous starts to their careers in red.

Fernandes himself has returned six goals and 13 assists in 26 Premier League appearances, making him United’s third-highest goalscorer behind Mbeumo and Sesko, and their top assister.
It’s no secret that, when the time comes for the board to have to replace the 31-year-old, it will be one of the most complicated assignments they’ll have been tasked with in a long, long time.
