Liverpool manager Arne Slot has transfers on his mind
Liverpool could be bracing for another bustling summer as the Reds aim to reassert themselves as Premier League title challengers.
Arne Slot's team are presently vying for a Champions League berth after falling short of their league-winning form from the previous season. Despite recruiting several high-profile signings, the Reds have experienced difficulties at times this season but have started to string together results that might bode well for the future.
Liverpool are gearing up to welcome West Ham on Saturday, seeking a sixth victory in their last seven outings across all competitions. And they're already looking towards the end of the season and moves in the transfer market. Here's all the latest news from Anfield.

Florian Wirtz to Real Madrid claim
Florian Wirtz was one of the club's standout acquisitions in the summer, arriving for a then British transfer record £116m after Liverpool saw off Manchester City and Bayern Munich to win the race for his signature.
After a sluggish start to the campaign, the 22-year-old has started to show his undeniable quality with regular goals and assists for the Reds over the last two months.
But an agent linked to Wirtz has confessed to approaching Real Madrid's president during last summer's transfer window while attempting to reunite the midfielder with his former boss Xabi Alonso, reports the Mirror.

Wirtz's father Hans-Joachim serves as the Liverpool star's representative, though Volker Struth has previously handled the player's commercial interests and desired to see him join Los Blancos.
Struth told Phrasenmaher: "During the period when a move to Liverpool or Bayern was being discussed, I called Xabi Alonso and told him: 'You have to take the lad from Leverkusen with you to Real'.
"Xabi replied, 'You don't have to tell me that, you have to tell (Real president) Florentino Perez'. So I actually sent him a message.
"'Dear Florentino, I've told you many times before: I have a player here whom I would highly recommend. Florian Wirtz makes every team in the world better.'".
He continued: "That year, it simply wasn't the right time due to the squad and the budget. Even Real Madrid's coffers aren't always overflowing. But my wish remains that Florian will play there one day."

The father of Galatasaray right-back Roland Sallai has insisted Liverpool have already established contact regarding a potential transfer for the Hungarian star.
Injuries have rendered right-back a problematic position for the Reds this season and the 28-year-old's dad reckons his son could provide Liverpool's answer - joining countrymen Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez at Anfield.
He joined Galatasaray from SC Freiburg in September 2024 for a reported fee of £5.2m and could be available for a budget price of £9m.

"Roli feels good here [at Galatasaray], he loves the club, he doesn't want to leave at any cost, but I think he still has one big step left in his career, a really big club," Tibor Sallai told Hungarian publication Blikk. "From here he can only sign for a team that is truly one of the top teams in the world.

"Liverpool could be such a destination, and I admit, I wouldn't be surprised if this club change happened now, in the winter. I know that contact has already been made through a management office.
"I don't want to and I don't want to shout anything, but my son will really have a good chance in the summer, if there is an offer that is also beneficial for Galatasaray, to change country and level.
"It wouldn't be just any moment if Liverpool were to run out onto the Anfield turf with three Hungarians in the starting line-up."
