It is widely accepted that St. James’ Park is one of the toughest away fixtures for Premier League clubs.
It’s an environment that can be very difficult to thrive in, with the home support often carrying the players to strong performances.

But down the years, Moyes has actually fared fairly well.
He’s been up to St. James’ Park 18 times in his career in the Premier League, and recorded five wins, six draws and seven defeats.
One of those wins came on his last visit, as Charly Alcaraz scored a second-half winner.
