The West Ham Fan Advisory Board (FAB) will be meeting with West Ham Vice Chairman Karren Brady, Ticketing Director Nicola Keye and Head of Supporter Services Kerry O’Shea at 6 pm this evening.
Brady has been subject to speculation that she will soon withdraw from her role at West Ham. However, she is unlikely to answer any questions on that subject with the meeting being convened to align with the imminent release of the Hammers accounts which are thought to make for grim reading.
The FAB is made up of Andy Payne OBE (Hammers United), Kevin Hind (West Ham United Supporters Trust), Paul Christmas (West Ham United Official Supporters Club), Jo Bailey (Pride of Irons), Cathy Bayford (Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the Disabled Supporters Board), Austin Gigg (Junior Supporters’ Board), Apu Vyas (Inclusive Irons), Martine Dodwell-Bennett (Bond Holders), Georgia Whitney (Women’s Team Supporters’ Board)
Often, Ashley Brown from the Football Supporters Association (FSA), Maurice Birnbaum (Away Scheme Member), Mike Field (Old School Hammers), Scotty Burkhart (Overseas Supporters Rep) are also attendees.
Amongst other agenda items and a tour of the foundry, the FAB will be briefed on last season’s financial accounts, which will be published tomorrow. The accounts are expected to show losses of around £100m.
