Before the Scudetto season, Sandro Tonali offered a few glimpses of being a star before taking off for AC Milan; now Ardon Jashari could follow that.
It felt like an eternity for Milan to sign Jashari in the summer, and the effort to sign the Swiss was monumental. At several points, it seemed like a deal was dead, and then it wasn’t, and then it was again.
Finally, though, the Rossoneri managed to get their man, but his season has certainly been a bit turbulent.
Jashari’s reminder
Within the first few weeks of his arrival, he was injured in training, and he missed half of the season. Since then, he has fought to get back into the side, but even when he returned, things weren’t simple. Indeed, by that point, Massimiliano Allegri had his core defined, and Luka Modric was flying.
Now, that might change, with reports suggesting that the Swiss will play alongside the Croatian, rather than instead of him, taking the place of Youssouf Fofana.

For MilanNews, his story so far is reminiscent of Tonali’s, a player who arrived with promise after the high asking price from his former club, and he struggled to hit the levels hoped for from the off. As we know, that quickly changed; he just needed a bit of time.
So, in this first season, whilst Jashari has shown glimpses, being too quick to judge may be a mistake. After all, the sparks are there, just look at his assist for Leao last week.
