Rangers have opened talks to bring Mikey Moore to Ibrox on a permanent deal from Tottenham Hotspur, with owners 49ers giving the Premier League side two reasons to say yes, according to Football FanCast.
While Rangers are gearing up for a huge Old Firm clash against Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday, they have also started negotiations with Tottenham to make one of their standout 2025 additions one of their own.
Danny Rohl's men would have been disappointed to drop points against Livingston last weekend, having beaten leaders Hearts 4-2 at Ibrox previously, with the result leaving them four points behind Derek McInnes' men.
Celtic are also chasing the Jambos down, but Rangers know they need all three points to boost their chances of winning a Scottish Premiership title that looked impossible when Russell Martin was in charge earlier this season.
The 49ers are also preparing for how they can improve Rangers' squad off the pitch ahead of 2026-27.
Rangers Offer Tottenham Tempting Double Proposal

According to Football FanCast, Rangers are trying to reach a pre-agreement to ensure Moore will be wearing a light blue shirt again next season.
Reports earlier this week suggested that Tottenham would be open to another loan move, as long as they preserve their Premier League status.
Relegation-threatened Spurs would be more inclined to keep hold of the 18-year-old if they suffered a disastrous relegation to the Championship, with Igor Tudor's men currently lying four points above the bottom three.
The 49ers are ready to include two clauses in their offer for the teenager to tempt the north Londoners, including a large sell-on fee and granting Spurs first refusal on any future transfer.
It remains to be seen whether that will be enough to convince Tottenham to sell, given Moore is so highly-rated and still at an age where he could go on to achieve massive things in his career.
Moore Wants to Stay at Rangers for Another Year

The same report from earlier this week suggested that Moore is enthusiastic about staying at Ibrox and playing regularly for another season, but it's unclear whether he'd be keen on making it a longer-term agreement.
The 18-year-old has certainly made a big impact on the Ibrox faithful during his 36 appearances, with fans admiring his confidence and flair in matches.
Five goals and a further three assists have also helped, and it is no surprise that Rangers want to keep a teenager who is producing those numbers and who is only going to get better.
