The manager hopes that the return of Gudmundsson can bolster a defence that has struggled at times this season, particularly in the closing stages of matches.
Leeds have conceded 12 goals after the 85th minute, the most in the Premier League, a statistic Farke is keen to address. Gudmundsson’s return certainly comes as a boost given City’s firepower in attack.

“We have shown several times this season we can deliver convincing performances and make something out of tight games,” Farke added, expressing confidence in his squad’s ability to rise to the occasion.
If Leeds can embody the second half they produced at The Etihad, there is every chance that Leeds can get a result against Man City. Certainly, Arsenal fans will be hoping Leeds can get a result on Saturday.
