It's been a hectic week for numerous Premier League teams due to European commitments, but Manchester United have had the benefit of watching from the sidelines. Their weekend opponents, Crystal Palace, faced Zrinjski Mostar in the second leg of their Conference League play-off on Thursday, leaving them with only a few days to recover before their trip to Old Trafford.
If Michael Carrick's squad seize the opportunity and secure all three points, it would edge them closer to ensuring a top-four finish this season. However, closest competitors Chelsea and Liverpool will be keen to intensify the pressure, with Arne Slot's reigning champions hosting West Ham at Anfield on Saturday and the Blues facing league leaders Arsenal in Sunday's blockbuster match.
In today's round-up, focus turns to the summer transfer window and the dealings the club will and won't be engaging in. Here's the latest from Old Trafford...

Onana request rejected
Manchester United have no intention of reintegrating goalkeeper Andre Onana next season in spite of his wishes, as per TeamTalk.
The Cameroon international is currently on loan at Trabzonspor but isn't expected to extend his stay with the Turkish club beyond the end of this season.
United are reportedly keen to offload Onana's salary from their wage bill, with Senne Lammens now solidly established as the first-choice keeper at Old Trafford.
Reports indicate they will reject Onana's request to prove his worth back at Old Trafford, instead aiming to transfer him this summer, either through another loan or a permanent deal.
This would inevitably result in them taking a loss on the £47m they paid Inter Milan for his services in 2023.

Mainoo decision looms
United are running the risk of allowing Kobbie Mainoo to enter the final year of his contract without securing a new agreement.
The Sun reports that neither side has recommenced discussions over an extension, with the midfielder still operating under the contract he signed around the time of his debut for the club in 2023.
Mainoo rejected a proposal from United towards the end of the 2024/25 season and found regular playing time hard to come by under Ruben Amorim in the first half of the current campaign.
There were rumours of a departure in January amid interest from Napoli, but he has since reasserted himself as a regular starter under interim manager Carrick.
United do have a one-year extension option on Mainoo's contract, which expires in the summer of 2027.
Though the club are thought to be preparing additional negotiations regarding a more extended agreement when discussions resume with his representatives.
